I, Marie-Antoinette stand before you today, to receive a punishments, that is unworthy, my own country planned a revolution against me, to rid me of the position, and what am I supposed to do, lay down and surrender, being called a traitor after being queen for 18 years, poverty famine and starving people on the streets but us as royals living the life, with fancy gowns and pantry’s overloading. I knew beforehand that the bourgeoisie were going to overthrow us as a monarchy so that everybody could be equal, I knew this, but I did not know they would come in numbers. If it is going to be, to overrule the queen and cut my head and be rid of me but to kill my children and husband, because of the same blood lines, makes me sick, I never thought us as a French community would turn evil. But remember people, I was born in Austria born into royalty, so remember I am not one of you, I have never experienced life living on the streets, with my ribs showing, starving for something to eat so I cannot relate to you people, I left my mother at the young age of 14, as old as you kids down the front here, I was forced to marry Louis-Agustie who was king of France which lead me to become queen, And here I am 24 years later, about to be slaughtered by the guillotine which represent and equality , and as I stand here today, a former queen, born into royalty over un by the people I loved, who killed the people I loved , in search for equality, rest in peace the queen of France!
